Ruby is two!

Ruby woke up last Wednesday thinking it was just another mundane day.

And then she saw this:

Her exact words were, "What da heck?"

She was very excited about her new kitchen, though it seemed to have lost some of its luster after she opened Ethan's present, which was a small, electronic puppy that barks and walks. Later in the day, when her uncle Rob said, "Happy Birthday, Ruby," she answered, "Thanks. I got a puppy."

Ryan stayed home from work so we made a family trip to the zoo.

 Ruby loved all of the animals, except for the elephant. He made her a little nervous.

It was a great day but I'm not sure any of it made sense to her. If you ask her how old she is, she still answers, "four."
