Long road ahead

Currently, I am trying to refinish/reupholster this chair.
So far today, I have removed four staples.

Any advice in the "how to quickly remove uphostery staples department?"

There is a tool that is specifically made for removing staples it has two prongs on it that are short and a bend in the bar that allows you to lever the staples out. The tool is a little bit bigger than a screw driver and can't be much more expensive. Let me know if you have other questions.

You should post a step by step thing on what you do. I have always wanted to learn to reupholster but I don't know where to start. Good luck!!

Meg- i admire your determination. I am having a chair reupholstered right now, I wouldn't have dreamed at doing it myself. You are amazing. I will have to post the before and after pics when it is done.

I used a flat head screwdriver and it worked like a charm... although they do sell the actual tool for staple removing at Home Depot and it works great!
